Deluxe Orange was originally developed by a cannabis breeder by the name of Sonic. Deluxe Orange is a 50/50 indica/sativa marijuana strain that was bred by crossing the two strains Orange Velvet and Jack the Ripper.

This is a beautiful plant that often turns maroon and purple shades as it nears maturation, especially when night temperatures drop by 10°C or more. Yields are excellent; indoors it is possible to harvest as much as 600 - 700 gr/m2 in only 8 - 9 weeks of the flowering period. Outdoors its short flowering time means that harvests in the northern latitudes will be during the month of September producing 700 gr/plant or more. Yields will be increased by topping thus making the plant bushier and increasing the number of bud sites. The buds of Deluxe Orange are very large, quite dense and extremely resinous.
